Victron Cerbo and dumb solar controller.

Now I've got cerbo do I need smart solar controllers ?

As I can get 2 of victron dumb controllers 100 / 50 £ 100. Each. smarts units £150 each £100 ish saving

but will they connect to cerbo gx and link as master and slave ? Same as Bluetooth on unit

I never saw the Blue Solar 100/50 at £100! I would say that is a listing mistake and it should be more like £140 (put it this way ... the TRADE price at BMS is more than that £100 even before you add VAT!). And then with a 15% discount code on top!
Grab a pair while you can!!

To answer the first question, if you are connecting to a Cerbo GX then the Blue Solar will be just as good as the Smart Solar. You can configure them both using VictronConnect but with the BlueSolar you just need to go via VRM rather than Bluetooth.
I have a SmartSolar 100/50 in my Motorhome connected to a Cerbo GX, but if I saw the 100/50 BlueSolar at that price, I would be using that instead

that code does work. remember to use the "%" at the end, put it exactly as was psoted. BMS also have a 12% easter code you can use instead.

saving are great compared to 2020 . Again thanks.
I have one ve connection to the cerbo and 1 for the smart shunt. And 100 / 30 mppt .So I have short 3 ve cables. But I use the Bluetooth. For connecting. 100 / 30 smart mppt and smart shunt.

At the start of the week I was paying and would have paid £162 for each 100 / 50 mppt. Now it min £170 blue max smart £ 250 ish and 215 for 1 of each !

So dilemma

One of 3 choices. Must be made !!!
